The Manaslu region of Nepal is very varied and diversified in terms of culture and nature. The region offers adventurous trekking and equally enjoyable climbing opportunities in the shadow of Manaslu Mountain. Peregrine Treks & Expedition offers the Manaslu Expedition package, including climbing the magnificent mountain. The government of Nepal has well preserved these under restricted trekking in the Nepal region.

It lies at the edge of the remote valley in Nepal’s central and western region, about 40 miles from Annapurna. Manaslu Mountain is the world’s eighth-highest mountain and the alternative expedition or mountaineering mountain to that of Cho Oyu. The long ridges and the glacier valley offer directions for the climbing route feasible as the surrounding landscape steeply overlooks the mountain towers. Among six different routes to the summit of the Manaslu, the southern route is the toughest of all. The Japanese particularly regard this mountain as the British and New Zealand regard Mount Everest. Japanese team makes the first three successful ascents of the Himalayas.

Traditionally, the Manaslu expedition returns via different routes from Budigandaki of Lamjung. However, the climbing trail follows a straightforward route to the summit with little technical knowledge. Very little steep uphill climbing passes by crevasses from Manaslu camp I to camp II, which is the easy part. At the same time, the II to III junction consists of slippery snow climbing exercises or training, and finally, III to camp IV, there are high chances of avalanches occurring. But this would be fun and adventurous together in a single trip. Still, Mount Manaslu is one of the fantastic options for the trek.

Peregrine Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd. takes you to this well-protected area of Nepal trekking with the aid of experienced mountaineering guides.
