Chitwan Jungle Safari Detail Itinerary

  • Day 1: Drive to Sauraha Chitwan

    This morning you will have a good breakfast and pack your things and equipment while leaving Kathmandu for exciting adventures in Chitwan. It lies 155 km southwest of Kathmandu valley in the Terai plains, and it takes about 4.5 hours to get our private vehicle.

    After you arrive at Chitwan, you will be escorted to your resort, where you will get a short briefing on your accommodation and the services available. You will freshen up and have lunch followed by a Village tour in Chitwan. Most people are Tharu here, and the Tharu Village tour is quite extraordinary to experience.

    Tharus are rich in culture, daily practices, stick dances and traditions, different living styles, customs, rituals, arts, and crafts, etc. Our tour guide will fully describe it to you. You will enjoy Tharu cultural dance in the evening and stay overnight at the hotel — dinner and the resort.

  • Day 2: Full Day Jungle Safari activities

    Chitwan National Park Jungle Activities: After breakfast, you move out to explore Chitwan. Today you will visit Chitwan National park, Bird Watching, do a Jeep Safari in National Park, go Elephant Bath and breeding center, Canoeing, and Village Tour.

  • Day 03: Transfer onwards destination

    This program can be added to any trekking and tour package. Only this program is suitable for Nepalese and Indian Nationalities who have limited time and want to spend their short holidays.

    To confirm the trek/tour package, we want a deposit of at least 20% of the total tour/trek fee. The remaining balance must be paid when you arrive in Nepal. We take Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, American Express, and other major credit cards. The total cost of a Bhutan and Tibet tour must be paid in full at the time of booking.

    We strongly advise you to purchase a SIM card for reliable internet access throughout Nepal. Nepal Telecom (owned by the government) and NCELL (owned by the private sector) are the two main SIM card providers in Nepal. It is preferable to get a SIM card at an airport, where staff will assist with activation and data plan purchases. If you have a SIM card, it will be easier for you to contact us and locate our airport agent.

    You can charge your electrical devices at hotels and lodges because there are no power outages. In the Himalayan region, however, hotel owners may levy a nominal fee.
