After a seven-hour drive from Kathmandu, we arrive in the beautiful lake city Pokhara, the gateway of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri trekking. Pokhara is a mixture of different ethnic groups and cultural people. Another beautiful part of Pokhara is Phewa Lake which offers a fantastic view of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Dhaulagiri ranges reflecting into the Fewa lake water.

Drive a Taxi from Pokhara to Dhampus Phedi for about half an hour, then trek uphill to Dhampus village for another two hours. Dhampus is the unique Gurung village that lies in the lap of the green hill and in front of Mt. Fishtail and Annapurna south. Then gradually ascend to Australian Camp through the pleasant Rhododendron flour forest. It takes around an hour more to walk up to the camp.

Australian Camp to Sarangkot lies on top of the Hill and is not in the remote parts of Nepal, but it has universal traits to enjoy. The downhill, along with the Brahmin and Chhetri community until Sarangkot, gives you alternative thinking towards this tribe rather than a world-famous Mongolian tribe of Nepal, and once you trek uphill to Sarangkot, the enthralling view of Fewa Lake and lakeside Pokhara would resemble that of romantic painting canvas of a painter. After the sunrise from Sarangkot, you will descend to the lodge and take breakfast, steeply down with the panoramic views of Phewa Lake and Pokhara valley. On this day you will visit the beautiful Pokhara city for your overnight.

We will transfer you to the airport by local vehicle.

We will be accommodated at Samsara Resort or a similar hotel in Kathmandu. For Pokhara, we will be provided with Teeka resort and local tea houses during the trek. The accommodations are made on a twin-sharing basis. Single supplements can be served upon request but will cost an extra USD 250. However, only a room cannot be possible sometimes during higher elevations. In the trekking area, most of your accommodations contain attached bathrooms, while some of the teahouses may not have, and you may have to share the washing and toilet facilities in that case.
During the trek, we have various options in cuisines like Nepali, Chinese, Italian, Continental, Indian, etc. Breakfast will be served from the tea houses or the lodge’s menu, and we will have our lunches on the way to our destination. There will be welcome and farewell dinners with our trekkers.

We strongly advise you to purchase a SIM card for reliable internet access throughout Nepal. Nepal Telecom (owned by the government) and NCELL (owned by the private sector) are the two main SIM card providers in Nepal. It is preferable to get a SIM card at an airport, where staff will assist with activation and data plan purchases. If you have a SIM card, it will be easier for you to contact us and locate our airport agent.
You can charge your electrical devices at hotels and lodges because there are no power outages. In the Himalayan region, however, hotel owners may levy a nominal fee.
